Hand Crafted Metal Art or Computer Generated Metal Art
Much of the metalwork offered on the Internet today is being created by a computer, directing the torch to follow a specific line pattern. When I started my metal art career in the 1980s the cost for one of these computer operated plasma tables ran around $80,000 and was used primarily for the production of mass volume parts. Today the price for a comparable set-up has dropped to under $8,000. Now we see mass produced metal silhouettes claiming to be Metal Art in most towns across the country from an increasing numbers of small producers.
All J Dunbar metal art is created by hand without the use of any computer operated equipment making them truly
one of a kind, handcrafted Metal Art.... Jerry Dunbar
